Bought this 11/12/2007 to use in my surefire G2, I rotated 2 sets of batteries and use my flashlight daily at work. My first set of batteries quit taking a charge 08/07/2009 and I opened the 3rd set. Not sure why they added the surefire warning but I've used them for almost 2 years now without a problem and will continue to use them from now on. It's the best buy for your buck on anything which uses 123A batteries unless you just like throwing your money away on the disposables.
