Thionyl Chloride Lithium Battery (Li-SOCl2) is the highest density primary (non-rechargeable) Lithium Battery with very long shelf life (up to 10 years). Commonl referred to as ER series batteries, their capacity is three times the Alkaline batteries. These batteries have high operating votlage of 3.6V, and wide oeprating temperature from -55℃ to +85℃, and capacity up to 38,000mAh. They are manufactured with Non-flammable and high-energy concentric "bobbib" electrolyte and corrosion-proof containers. Cells are not pressurized at room temperture. Applications for these batteries are broad: Security and remote Alarm systems, Automotive electronics, Emergency location Buoys, Utility metering - Auto Metering Reading (AMR), Real time clocks, Memory back-up, Lighting - Night vision and other professional electronics.
