I have two old cb walkie-talkies that take ten ni-cd batteries each. This charger does the job, and then so. The discharge feature is ultra-important, and each battery is recognized: you can watch the lights and actually see when the charger is done charging each individual battery. No complaints here.

This charger comes very handy because you always have charged batteries at hand. Also you can charge them individually and not per pair.
