I have been testing Propel pack at 35 and 42 CONTINOUS WATTS.
The Tenerey Propel hold up much better than most other cells in the market.
The reason why this test is so important and significant is that you are pushing the cell to its maximum. Since the POWER is kept constant, as the voltage starts to decrease the current that the cell delivers has to go up in order to maintain the set power...
We have found that Both, VOLTAGE and CURRENT delivery capabilities of the Propel cells are superior.
Transient response tests on the Propel also show a faster reacting cell. The Propel can react FASTER to changes in current and that is KEY to a better cell.
In a car, the current is dischanging continously (around 18 to 35 Amps, with fast peaks at around 85A) and a battery that can react quickly to these changes will feel to the driver as a battery pack that has HIGH PUNCH.
