I had my first one for about a week and dropped it. It landed hard on cement and did not work after that, but I did not hesitate to order a new one (even though all-battery would not give me a warranty concession...). I have used my current T100 for about six months. The light output is very impressive compared to other LED and Halogen products. The battery life seems to be a much longer run that Luxeon lights. The color rendering is the best I have seen. I am now absolutely sure wether it is a pink on green wire or a red on green wire, even when the wires are dirty. The variable brightness is far superior to "low, mid, high" products as you can match the light to the sounding conditions. Leaving it at 230 will blind you most of the time when lighting objects less than 4 ft away. Because the lens head is not unnecessarily large in diameter it can be put in the holster lens down. This is very important for dusty climates or around welding equipment as the lens remains clean and clear when in storage on your belt. I have suffered through many other flash lights with either poor light output, poor color rendering or inconvenient features (such as a "high, low, off" switch where you are constantly putting it back on your belt on low...). Even that Snap-On products fall far shout of this one despite the 3X cost... This light has all the best features and none of the drawbacks. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it had a rubberized bezel in front to protect it from falls. To that end a little 'plasti-dip' goes a long way. I use the RCR123A batteries. All-Battery's 39004 lets me always have 2 bats on charge while using the other 2 in the light. I usually change them before they quit, which is weekly for me, even with daily use. If something happens to this light again, I will order another one immediately. I finally found the top of the food chain after ten years of looking!
