Battery Care Tips (for longer battery life):
Dont store batteries unused for long periods of time with less than 20% of charge. Because batteries self discharge on their own, storing empty or near empty batteries may cause them to over drain (voltage drops below 1.0V) which can have adverse affects on battery life or completely damaging them. Optimal temps for storing batteries is between 10°C - 30°C. (not advised to freeze batteries in the fridge.)
Cycle batteries at least once every 2-6 months to keep them active. Cycling refers to the act of fully charging the batteries and discharging (draining the battery either in device or from your charger if it has that option) Charge batteries to 40% or more before leaving them unused or for long term storage (3-6 months+).
Store batteries in a cool dry location away from direct sunlight or high temperatures. Avoid moisture or condensation. Once a battery charger indicates batteries are fully charged, remove the batteries from the charger and unplug from the wall.
Important note: rechargeable batteries do not last forever and degrade over time. Temperature, storage conditions, and environment affects battery life or degrading rate. Take care of batteries and they will last longer for you. Eventually rechargeable batteries will still need to be replaced.

Better than the "Name Brands"

Except for the hyper-expensive 3550 mAh AA (NiFeNH) from Japan, there's no better NiMH I've found. I use them in very high drain photo applications (2-4N) and they take it. Some chargers don't fully charge these as "quick charge". My budget Tenergy charger didn't. A better quality charger works fine. You can pay four or five times as much per cell and not get any better performance. My digital SLR will use 8 AA's or a $250 OEM pack. Guess which I use. The OEM pack is rated for 800 RAW images per charge. I get 400+ from 8 AA Tenergy's which is 50% more than rated from NiHM's.
The beast!

Well made & honest specs - Tenergy is my first choice always. If they say it's 2600mah it's 2600. I recommend them to everyone!

I have used 24 of these batteries for high drain and low drain applications. Every battery seems to be working at full capacity after several years. Forget your experience with old rechargeables. My batteries were still ready to go three months after charging. The T6988 ten-bay charger treats each battery independently so no worries about a full charge on each battery every time.
i agreed much much better that the best batterys out there

My Tenergy NiMH AA cells perform better and longer than some batteries from famous brands that are a lot more expensive.
